There always seems to be something going on in the area. Here is a modest list of the festivals and events in the upcoming calendar. If you have any questions please get in touch.

Victoria Hall

Did you know?

Set up as a charity in 1991, Settle Victoria Hall was established in the beautiful Grade 2 listed building on Kirkgate. We’re funded primarily from fundraising events held by our Friends, venue hire and donations, along with some funding from Settle Town Council. The Hall is run by the trustees and management team and is independent of local councils.

They are recently opened the gardens to the rear as a pop up cafe serving sandwiches and cakes.

The Folly Settle

(Impressive Grade 1 Listed 17th Century House)
NEW! The Settle GeoTrail app: see: Android Apps on Google Play or App Store on iTunes

The Folly is a striking and impressive 17th century house close to the centre of Settle in the heart of Yorkshire’s Craven Dales. The Folly was built in 1679 by Richard Preston, a wealthy lawyer. His new house, standing by the old main road into the town, formed the centrepiece of his estate in Settle and was undoubtedly built to make an impact.

Listed Grade 1 in recognition of its outstanding architectural importance.

Recently restored by North Craven Building Preservation Trust as part of a phased rescue and development project. Home to the Museum of North Craven Life
